Synthetic environment of experiment "Ad Hoc Organization of Picture Compilation" : technical evaluation report

Abstract

This report documents the synthetic environment developed for experiment "Ad hoc organization of picture compilation" conducted during the NATO exercise Blue Game 04, with emphasis on technical issues. The main challenges are described, most of them introduced as a result of the use of satellite communications. Several possible designs are presented, together with discussions of whether or not they satisfy specified requirements. The selected solution is described in detail.
